Feminist Mantra Monday 21: Trust
This morning I shared coffee and an early lunch with a friend I've known for eight years. 2016 was rife with relationship trauma for each of us, but as we came together we found we shared a new sense of empowerment, of freedom, of certainty in the vibrancy of our futures.
Today's mantra is about trusting that you are on the right path simply because it's your path. It's about having faith that your path will always lead you where you need to go. It's about believing in your gut and listening to yourself.
This sort of trust is often called intuition and tossed aside in favor of reason. It's culturally branded "women's intuition" as a way to dismiss it, but it's also women's most powerful resource, a way to tap in to our true strength in creation.
Today I challenge you to meditate for a moment on what your gut may be telling you. Ask it a question. Express an intention. Or simply sit for a while and see where your mind goes. Trust the process. Trust the path. Let me know where it leads you.
